Hello and goodbye Shanghai

Our flight was a bit turbulent at times and at 9 hours we were all antsy with 3.5 more hours to go.  Kyla slept for 2 hours and watched a load of movies.  She sure is a seasoned traveller at her age.

Over the past 3 days we have toured a bit of Shanghai and have been battling the time change.  Kyla has been passing out around 6 or 7 pm sometimes missing dinner.  First 2 nights we were up at 3 am and waited for the breakfast buffet to open at 6.  Thank goodness we all slept till 5 am today.

We are in the hotel lobby waiting for the driver to take us to the airport.  We will be in Nanchang by 8:30 tonight.  We woke up today letting Kyla know that tomorrow we get to see her sister.  We are excited and really looking forward to being together as a family of 4.

I am thankful for arriving in China a few days early as us three are in a better frame of mind and body for tomorrows big event.  I am also thankful for the peanut butter that we brought as it has saved us when K was hungry in the middle of the night.  Shanghai is amazing.  So much to see and do, but we will have more time on our next trip.  We were with Chantelle today so that was great.

Troy just got the VPN going today so now I can blog more often.  Thanks to all the people who have sent us emails.  We appreciate all the love and support.

Till my next post....
