You parents know what it is like when you have two kids asleep as you land and you have way too many carry on luggage and the attendants are not helpful, they just hand you stuff like, get the heck off my plane.
oh...good thing it was only a phone (although I know what a pain that can be) and not a passport...:) Don't be afraid to leave items behind...take it from someone that packed waaaay to much...lol I think I still have gum (that travelled across the pacific) from our 2009 trip!
