It is official now, we are a family of 4!

Lucy got up at 5:30 after a 12 hour sleep, bathed (did not like it much), ate congee and dumplings for breakfast, played, smiled and ran around at the registration meeting today.  She is snacking on crackers, Cheerios and fruit.  Lucy is tiny under all those clothes so she can eat when and what she wants.  I just have to be careful not to over feed her as she just keeps eating as long as you put food to her mouth. She loved holding food in her hand for hours, like she is saving it for later.

Lots of smiles and giggles today, Lucy does not have the scared look all day anymore, though she wants to be held lots.  She also wants to keep her jacket and boots on in the hotel room, our guide tells us that most people in China keep jackets on even in the house because they don't have heating.  I am sure the orphanage was cold.

The registration meeting went smoothly making her ours officially.  It was fun to see Kyla and Lucy running around together. We just had to walk accross the street for the appointment.  In the afternoon we went to a restaurant with our guide for lunch, the notary office and the police station to apply for Lucy's Chinese passport.

This picture is on the official Adoption Registration certificate that we got on Monday.

We celebrate Lucy joining our family today and her birthday, just one week late.  What a great day!
